Durable Plaques, Tags, and Signs |
|
Would you like a
permanent addition to a memorial garden, plant stake, nature
trail, etc? We have the capability of reproducing photographic
images and text on silver or gold metal for plaques, tags or
signage. Images are reproduced from color or black and white
photos and will last for years. Metal is weather resistant in
all extreme conditions and will withstand normal wear and tear.
Thickness of metal available ranges from .008" to .020". If this
does not meet your requirements, we have several other options
available. Overall size reproducible can range from the low end
(1/4”) to the high end (15” x 22”). We also now have the capability to produce high quality photographic negatives needed for our metal process. Eliminates extra production time and gives us greater control from start to finish.Application for this process could include, but not limited to:

All of the
manufacturing processes Colorado Laser Technologies can
provide are showcased in a project recently completed
for The Grace Center/St Mary's High school. Laser
Cutting, Laser Marking, Photographic Metal, Design,
and Assembly are all visible in the photos
below. The signs were mounted on 16 gauge 304 Stainless
Steel, which were Laser Cut using a
combination of both of our two Laser Cutting systems.
The 1/2" thick black acrylic was also cut to size using
our Laser Cutter with attention being paid
to hanging detail. The Photographic Metal images were
first designed using a variety of methods including hand
drawn images, photographs, computer generated text, to
name a few. These aluminum images are totally weather
resistant to moisture, heat and cold. To further protect
against the elements of the ever-changing Colorado
weather and to insure against vandalism, a 1/4" thick
clear acrylic piece was Laser Cut and then
mounted on top of the other layers to form a permanent
piece of art. |

Individual
leaves denoting the donors to the landscaping project
were Laser Cut from anodized aluminum and Laser Marked. The leaves were then affixed
to the three piece tree that had been transferred onto
the Photographic Metal. The wall piece can
be changed over the years to include additional donors
since the clear acrylic protection was designed so it
could be removed. |
